“While the new color fads enthusiastically promoted by fashion editors and department stores stylists may be tempting at first, you can tire of them very quickly. In any case it is certainly preferable to create a personal palette of your own…. Still, before launching into the adventure of an entirely new shade, you should be sure that you will be able to co-ordinate it with your existing wardrobe…”
- Genevieve Antoine Dariaux
My base wardrobe has always been and will continue to be centered on neutrals. However, to spruce up my wardrobe every season I like to add a touch of the seasonal colours in an item or two to be MOD.
Before I invest, I spend time in, as the French say “la leche-vitrine” (licking the windows a.k.a. window–shopping) and getting a feeling for current trends.
My Windows shopping site list below is a work in progress… if you have any suggestions to help improve my site, or additional links, please contact me.
